The Dolphins have secured their first finals berth after a stunning 40-32 comeback victory over the Broncos in front of 50,188 fans at Suncorp Stadium.
Trailing 24-0 in the first half, the Dolphins mounted an incredible fightback, with Indigenous stars Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo playing pivotal roles.
Historic Comeback
Dolphins co-captain Isaiya Katoa laid on four tries to help the club secure their 13th win of the season, keeping them in fifth position.
This was Brisbane's seventh consecutive loss at Suncorp Stadium, the first time in their history, and the 24-point collapse was their biggest ever.
Tabuai-Fidow, who won the Battle Medal as man of the match, scored his second try in the 68th minute with a stunning leap above Reece Walsh from a Katoa bomb to give the Dolphins a 36-32 lead, their first of the match.
Cobbo's clinical finish in the corner four minutes later sealed the victory.
First-Half Fireworks
The Broncos led 30-24 at halftime after an electrifying first 40 minutes that featured nine tries.
Brisbane five-eighth Ezra Mam scored a first-half hat-trick to make his mark on Indigenous Round, while fellow Indigenous teammate Walsh was on fire.
Brisbane were scoring at better than a point a minute to lead 24-0, stunning the Dolphins.
Broncos coach Michael Maguire's decision to elevate Billy Walters, in his 100th match for the club, to hooker worked well. Walters had an early 40/20 and line break to set up centre Deine Mariner for a try.
Dolphins Fight Back
Tabuai-Fidow's 90m runaway try kickstarted the Dolphins' four tries in 15 minutes. Katoa was heavily involved in tries to Connelly Lemuelu and Jamayne Isaako.
Cobbo raced backwards to scoop up a loose pass and dispatch it to centre Herbie Farnworth, who raced 30m to score.
Katoa's incredible chip kick after halftime for Lemuelu levelled the scores at 30.
A Walsh penalty goal restored Brisbane's advantage before Tabuai-Fidow's leap and Cobbo's finish sealed the win.
The Dolphins' bench was influential in turning the tide, with Max Plath carrying three Broncos on his back and Kurt Donoghoe showing craft in the halves.
