ASICS has released a limited-edition running shoe that allows marathon runners to hold on to the memory of their race. The Novablast 6 TCS Sydney Marathon Running Shoe, priced at $270, features a sock liner printed with the official course map and event date.
Design Inspired by Sydney Landmarks
Taking inspiration from the harbour city, the shoe's colourway and design elements pay homage to Sydney's most recognisable landmarks. The midsole's blue tones reflect the waters of Sydney Harbour, while the silver ASICS stripes mimic the parabolic design of the Harbour Bridge, echoed through the upper and midsole geometry. The clean white upper symbolises the clarity of mind achieved through the marathon journey, aligning with ASICS' Sound Mind, Sound Body philosophy.

The standout feature is the sock liner, which displays the official course map and event date, serving as a reminder of the runner's accomplishment each time they lace up. The shoe is the official running shoe of the TCS Sydney Marathon, an Abbott World Marathon Major event.
